You will work closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver performant and maintainable mobile experiences, with a strong focus on modern Android development practices.Responsibilities<ul><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Architect clean, scalable, and testable solutions following Clean Architecture principles</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Implement asynchronous and reactive programming using Coroutines and Flow</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Integrate dependency injection using Hilt/Dagger</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Ensure application performance, reliability, and code quality through best practices and reviews</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications</li></ul>Must-Have Qualifications<ul><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">5+ years of professional Android development experience</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Strong proficiency in Kotlin</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Solid understanding of Clean Architecture</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Experience with Coroutines, Flow, and reactive programming patterns</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Strong experience using Hilt/Dagger for dependency injection</li></ul>Nice-to-Have / Strong Plus<ul><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Experience implementing video playback using ExoPlayer</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Background working on media or streaming applications</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Familiarity with performance optimization for media-heavy apps</li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Knowledge of GraphQL</li></ul>Annual Compensation Range: $140,000-$165,000 CAD base + benefits + equityNote: The salary range listed for this position is a good faith estimate based on experience, qualifications, and internal compensation structure.
