You’ll be joining the Biometric platform for ID issuance team, a dedicated group of professionals working on ABIS* software that enables governments to prepare for elections, issue ePassports, and secure borders.

Within one month, you will…

Within three months, you will…

• Start building real Java/Kotlin backend services and Android features that serve our global projects.
• Collaborate in code reviews, join design sessions and understand core business logic
• Engage in bug fixes, UX improvements, and lift the quality of our apps one commit at a time.

Within six months, you will…

• Take ownership of meaningful mobile and backend features end-to-end
• Drive improvements in performance, scalability, and code structure.
• Support and inspire others - pair up with juniors and raise the bar across the team.

Within one year, you will…

• Lead key technical discussions and influence where the mobile and backend platforms are headed.
• Shape our team’s long-term technical strategy and continuously elevate our stack, ensuring that every sprint brings better performance, clarity, and impact.

About You:

We’re looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer to help us build, maintain, and scale our modern applications. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and wants to contribute not only through hands-on development, but also by shaping architecture, mentoring others, and driving best practices.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in full-stack backend-android development
• Solid knowledge of Java and/or Kotlin, Spring Boot, and Android
• Familiarity with microservice architecture, REST APIs, and CI/CD pipelines
• Willingness to mentor others and contribute to a strong engineering culture
• A problem-solving mindset and a passion for building great products

• S3: MinIO used for storage of images and other data
• DB: PostgreSQL/MSSQL/Oracle with a GraphQL layer

Android:
