The ideal candidate is fluent in <strong>Kotlin</strong>, has a deep understanding of the <strong>Android SDK</strong>, and is passionate about delivering performant, secure, and user-friendly applications. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize Android features while adhering to clean architecture principles and best coding practices.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Responsibilities and Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using <strong>Kotlin</strong> and modern development frameworks.</li><li>Integrate with <strong>RESTful APIs</strong> and <strong>WebSockets</strong> for real-time communication.</li><li>Implement and maintain <strong>clean architecture</strong> and scalable code using <strong>object-oriented principles</strong> and modern design patterns.</li><li>Collaborate with Product, QA, and Backend teams to deliver robust, user-focused solutions.</li><li>Debug, profile, and optimize applications for performance, stability, and security.</li><li>Apply <strong>observability best practices</strong> to ensure monitoring, logging, and performance tracking of mobile applications.</li><li>Work with <strong>payments integrations</strong> and ensure secure data handling.</li><li>Contribute to improving app navigation using the <strong>Navigation Component</strong> and follow Android UI/UX best practices.</li><li>Maintain clear, high-quality code, and participate in code reviews.</li><li>Proactively identify technical improvements and performance enhancements.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Qualifications and Skills</strong></p><ul><li>6+ years of recent Android development experience. Ability to show code snippets and/or open-source projects are bonus points!</li><li>Fluency in Kotlin (the language we use).</li><li>Familiar with RESTful APIs and WebSockets and how to use them from Kotlin-based Android applications.</li><li>Good knowledge of Android SDK.</li><li>Experience with payments.</li><li>Knowledge of libraries commonly used in Android development (for instance Koin, RxJava, Retrofit, Room, Coroutines).</li><li>Experience with object-oriented concepts and design patterns.</li><li>Good knowledge of different Android application architecture patterns.</li><li>Ability to debug and profile applications.</li><li>Excellent command of written and spoken English (min.
