About Flutter UKI:

Flutter UK & Ireland are the UKI region of Flutter Entertainment. They unite a dozen brands including powerhouses Paddy Power, Betfair, Tombola and Sky Betting & Gaming, bringing together hundreds of teams and thousands of colleagues, who create trusted entertainment for millions of customers every week.

Role Overview:

The Content team are responsible for keeping Paddy Power, Betfair & Sky Gaming customers safe and engaged. Sitting in the wider Digital Marketing function, this team create promotional mechanics, landing pages and onsite content across our sports and gaming sites. Crucially, the team must ensure there is a 100% quality of execution through quality control processes across several tools and regularly review to adapt to the evolving technology.

The team will measure success through opt-in rates, click to bet rate and overall conversion of our customers.

You will be responsible for managing operational tasks and processes that will facilitate the business in delivering the best customer experience and product offering. Also, delivering game-changing improvements for our customers and improving the overall experience will be a key part of your role.

Our team deals with end-to-end management of the website content. We create games that contribute to the gaming experience. We take care of the overall look and feel of the website by offering interactive zones and categories to keep our customers entertained. We promote the games via promotional banners, quick links, promotions and SEO content. You will understand product/commercial needs and how these are translated into functional and technical requirements. Content will be created by you using different CMS tools and programming languages.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

• Support the teams with the creation, management and optimization of website content
• Creating high-quality, easily maintained deliverables and documentation
• Acts as an POC for their team and other departments in matters of technical knowledge
• Understanding the dependencies between technology components and how they combine to deliver solutions to the end consumer and to the business
• Understand product/commercial needs and how these are translated into functional and technical requirements
• Lead requirements gathering effort based on stakeholders' input. Working with the teams to ensure we have relevant and accurate content onsite 
• Manage cross-team product dependencies
• Identify risks and raises concerns in due time when applicable, along with mitigation options
• Be comfortable with coding and creating content pages from scratch
• Coaches team on best practices for incident management
• Be able to pick up cross-domain projects
• Consistently communicate with stakeholders and keeps them informed of the status of requirements
• Execute operational best practice while consistently providing ways to improve operational processes to drive departmental efficiencies
• Seek to improve, optimise and evolve current working practices to drive efficiency and quality
• Efficiently communicate with relevant people such as production operators, incident managers and stakeholders regarding any owned incident
• Meets team’s KPIs with minimum errors
• Is open for dialogue, receptive, calm, and tactful in his relation with his colleagues
• Leads project implementations and presentations about processes
• Coaches and develops junior colleagues on technical competencies
• Fully understand how the product works and be an expert in your area
• Be able to provide definitive answers to any business-related questions that may arise from within the development teams.
• React to major incidents in a timely manner

Skills, Capabilities & Experience Required:

• Excellent problem-solving skills
• 3 years’ experience in an e-commerce environment, not necessarily gaming, as a content, product or operations executive or another similar role
• Stakeholder Management & excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, JSON, JavaScript, GitHub
• Superb attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Able to communicate clearly and influence the stakeholders on technical and process improvements
• Excellent English skills
• Knowledge in developing presentations adapted to different audiences
• Responsibility, punctuality, flexibility
• Experience with content management systems
• Experience in leading large-scale projects
• Ability to self-organize, analyse, and synthesize
• The ability to prioritize effectively in high-volume situations
• Relevant degree qualification desirable - technical university is a plus
• Impact calculation knowledge
• Technical knowledge of PPB software architecture, understanding component and application breakdown and interaction
• Be familiar with performance optimization concepts
• Knowledge in developing business cases and reports
