About Flutter Functions:

The Flutter Functions division is a key component of Flutter Entertainment, responsible for providing essential support and services across the organization. The division encompasses various corporate functions, including finance, legal, human resources, technology, and more, ensuring seamless operations and strategic alignment throughout the company

Role Overview:

The Tech Product Owner is responsible for the delivery of solutions related to Reward both within Workday (Core and Advanced comp) and wider technologies are delivering against business needs. The role will support the business to solve problems by assessing needs, understanding requirements, identifying potential solutions and ensuring the successful launch of Reward functionality within People systems. The role will own the Reward tech expected to cover c.20,000 colleagues across c.40 countries by end Q1 2026. Direct line management of Reward Product analysts and project resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the RPL People systems landscape including Workday, Altair, Workhuman, Peakon, Shareworks plus other bolt on systems and future RPL technologies
  • Responsible for the Reward People systems landscape including Workday, other bolt on systems and future Reward technologies
  • Owns technical vendor relationships for Reward Technologies
  • Leads and is responsible for the delivery of the strategic vision for our Global Reward systems through Programs, Projects and BAU Changes to meet business needs.
  • Responsible for decisions made in relation to Reward tech solutions, in conjunction with Group and Divisional People teams
  • Work with HR Teams and leadership to ensure functionality within people systems related Reward is addressing the needs of HR and the wider business.
  • Provide Reward technical insight and knowledge to influence strategic objectives and timelines
  • Support the delivery of digital HR Transformation through Reward People tech solutions leveraging our People Systems Product suite
  • Drive the delivery of global Reward process harmonisation and act as an advocate for a single global data model across all Flutter divisions
  • Optimize and elevate the quality, efficiency, performance and scalability of our global Reward digital platforms and supporting processes
  • Drive AI, ML and Automation solutions within the Reward Systems Landscape
  • Act as the top level Subject Matter Expert regarding the relevant capabilities/limitations and business processes related to Workday, and wider technology platforms impacting Reward
  • Maintain awareness, understanding, and knowledge of all functionality related to Reward Product suite and wider market product offerings.
  • Establish, maintain and leverage strong relationships to support the business as needed.
  • Lead in technical product and project meetings,
  • Collaborate with other product owners and product managers to ensure any solutions related to Reward systems are aligned to relevant strategies/initiatives associated with other functional areas.
  • Work with Portfolio Change to ensure new releases and proposed changes are impact assessed from a Reward perspective.
  • Drive the design and configuration of approved changes to Reward functionality (whether through a release, change request, projects or implementation to future brands), handing off to the HR Systems Assurance team for QA, testing and deployment.
  • Line Management of Reward Product Analysts, and contractor/consultancy resource for large strategic programs such future brand implementations into product suite.

Skills, Capabilities & Experience Required:

  • Experience having managed a product related to HR/People Technology and delivering people tech solutions to HR and the wider business.
  • Extensive experience in the configuration of Workday Advanced Compensation module & reward technologies gained through complex HR Transformation programs and via BAU delivery
  • Extensive experience in the configuration of Workday Recruitment and other Recruiting technologies gained through complex HR Transformation programs and via BAU delivery
  • Experience and understanding of joiner/mover/leaver processes, both in and out of Workday.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday, certified in multiple modules with a firm understanding of the full suite of Workday services and offerings.
  • Strong knowledge of wider market Reward Product Vendors and offerings
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, having managed external stakeholders in relation to a People Technology product.
  • Strong external network to ensure Reward solutions are shaped by best in class practise
  • Experience performance managing others, including allocation of work.
  • Designed and delivered training on a People Technology platform to end-users.
  • Experience delegating work to others.
  • Expert problem solving and analytical skills.
