This role combines clinical expertise in intra-oral scanning with high-impact sales execution across a dynamic dental technology market. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clinicians, dental practices, and distribution partners, helping them understand and adopt advanced digital imaging workflows. By combining solution selling with hands-on product demonstrations, you will directly influence territory growth and customer success. The position requires strong technical understanding of IOS systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate clinical needs into tailored solutions. You will collaborate closely with field sales teams to identify opportunities, drive demand generation, and support the full sales cycle. This is a high-travel, field-based role where customer engagement, education, and relationship building are central to success.
Accountabilities- Achieve and exceed sales targets within an assigned multi-state territory through strategic account management and solution-based selling.
- Identify, develop, and manage sales opportunities in collaboration with field sales teams, distributors, and key clinical stakeholders.
- Conduct in-person and virtual product demonstrations, showcasing intra-oral scanning workflows and clinical applications.
- Generate leads through distributor meetings, trade shows, customer events, and co-travel activities with field sales representatives.
- Monitor and analyze CRM data to identify opportunities, track pipeline health, and support accurate forecasting.
- Deliver customer education and training to clinicians and dental staff to drive adoption and product understanding.
- Manage existing and prospective accounts, ensuring timely resolution of customer needs and escalation when necessary.
- Maintain strong knowledge of competitive products, industry trends, and clinical applications to support consultative selling.
- Support RFPs, pilots, and time-sensitive sales opportunities through active engagement and solution positioning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in digital dental sales or equivalent dental industry role.
- Strong understanding of intra-oral scanning (IOS) workflows, dental imaging technologies, or related clinical tools.
- Proven ability to conduct product demonstrations and support clinical adoption in a sales environment.
- Experience working within a territory-based, field sales organization.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence clinicians, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools for pipeline and account management.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and customer-focused with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 60–70% across the assigned territory.
