Squire Technologies, Inc. in New York, NY seeks iOS Solution Architect.



RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design comprehensive iOS mobile solutions to parallel business goals and technical necessities.
  • Develop iOS mobile application architecture roadmaps, detailed specifications, and system integration strategies.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, developers, and additional stakeholders to define project reach, obligations, and timelines.
  • Lead the iOS development team, providing technical guidance, and mentoring junior developers.
  • Enhance iOS mobile applications for performance, expandability, and dependability.
  • Staying updated with the latest iOS development trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Actively participating in coding tasks, including implementing new features, fixing bugs, and optimizing performance.
  • Practice security norms to defend iOS mobile applications from vulnerabilities and online threats.
  • Oversee the testing process, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Document technical designs, architecture decisions, and codebase changes to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree, or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or a related role.
  • Must possess experience with:
  • (i) leading a development team;
  • (ii) iOS applications development in Swift/SwiftUI and Objective-C;
  • (iii) UIKit, Core Animations and Core Graphics;
  • (iv) CS fundamentals including algorithms and data structures;
  • (v) OOP (Object Oriented programming) and design patterns;
  • (vi) mobile architecture models, including MVVM, MVP, and MVC;
  • (vii) diagnosing performance and memory issues with Time Profiler;
  • (viii) Unit Testing and Test Automation;
  • (ix) multithreading using URLSessions, GCD and NSOperations;
  • (x) multi-module applications;
  • (xi) REST architecture for web services; and
  • (xii) SDLC (Agile and Waterfall based).


$200,000 - $205,000 a year
