Lead Mobile Engineer (React Native)

Requirements

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end development of the B2C mobile app using React Native and TypeScript
  

• Prototype, ship, measure, scale or sunset experiments rapidly
  

• Craft delightful UX including micro-animations, offline resilience, and p95 performance
  

• Collaborate with design and data to optimize features and retention
  

• Contribute across the stack (Node and TypeScript backend, Python AI pipelines) when needed
  

• Treat experiments as core product work, instrument, A/B test, and iterate
  

• Work directly with the founder, tech lead, and advisors to drive product direction
  

What we are looking for

• 3 to 8 years of experience building and shipping B2C mobile products, ideally in early-stage startups
  

• Deep expertise in React Native and TypeScript, with the ability to dip into Swift or Objective-C
  

• Experience navigating backend or infrastructure (Python, GCP, Airflow) to unblock yourself
  

• A scrappy, resourceful mindset and comfort moving fast and iterating quickly
  

• Excellent judgment on what good looks like in design, performance, and user value
  

• Strong product thinking with the ability to balance user experience, technical trade-offs, and business impact
  

• Track record of spinning up prototypes quickly and improving or replacing them without ego
