Medior Android Engineer (Remote - Portugal)

One of our companies is currently looking for a Medior Android Engineer in Portugal.

In this role, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of mobile products used by millions globally. You’ll work within a small, agile Android team to design, build, and improve key features of a widely trusted application focused on password and identity management. This position offers the chance to deepen your technical expertise in Android development while solving complex problems in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Your work will directly impact user experience and security for a large, diverse user base.

Accountabilities:

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, QA, and fellow developers to deliver new Android features.
• Design and implement robust, scalable features from concept through to deployment.
• Improve application architecture, code quality, and maintainability.
• Support customer-facing teams by providing technical insights and addressing reported issues promptly.
• Ensure effective tracking and resolution of software defects in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in Android development with solid knowledge of core Android APIs and frameworks.
• Proven ability to apply best practices in UI/UX design and front-end development.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, algorithms, multithreading, and data structures.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and handling JSON/XML data.
• Familiarity with third-party SDKs and integrations.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced agile environment and collaborating across teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Product-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering value to users.
