We’re looking for a Flutter Frontend Developer to join our growing tech team at iNet Africa (a Zeplin Investments Ltd brand). You’ll help build next-gen, intelligent business tools and customer-facing apps that support our internet services and internal platforms.
Build and maintain performant, beautiful Flutter applications across platforms (Mobile, Web, and potentially Desktop).
Collaborate with Node.js backend engineers to deliver real-time systems and tools.
Work closely with product and design teams to implement new features and improve UI/UX.
Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and iterative planning.
Leverage AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) in your development workflow for faster, smarter coding.
Help define and maintain consistent design patterns and components across the product.
3+ years of production-level experience in Flutter development.
At least one live Flutter app on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
Solid understanding of REST APIs, WebSocket integrations, and multiplatform Flutter architecture.
Working knowledge of Node.js backend APIs and how to consume them efficiently.
Strong grasp of UI/UX principles — design ability will be a factor in candidate evaluation.
Familiarity with modern Flutter tooling (Riverpod, Bloc, Provider, etc.) and app performance optimization.
Experience with Git for version control.
Have proven experience using modern AI-powered dev tools to accelerate your work and solve complex problems.
Care deeply about user experience and product polish.
Thrive in a high-autonomy, high-ownership environment.
Are comfortable working in a focused, fast-paced team.
Can confidently turn ideas into well-architected code.
Experience working with Flutter Web or Desktop.
A background in design or having contributed to design systems/component libraries.
CI/CD experience and automated testing practices.
An eye for pixel-perfect implementation.
