We are seeking a Native Android Tech Lead to drive the development of high-quality, user-centric Android applications while leading a talented team of developers. In this role, you will take ownership of the full development lifecycle, make architectural decisions, enforce best practices, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver performant and innovative mobile solutions. This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys mentoring engineers, and is passionate about mobile technology. The role is fully remote within the U.S., offering flexibility and the opportunity to shape Android development standards at scale.


Accountabilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
  • Mentor and guide development team members, conducting code reviews and promoting best practices.
  • Make strategic architectural decisions and define coding standards for mobile development.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to implement user-centric features.
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and maintainability across projects.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and team collaboration to optimize workflows.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries, maintaining secure and efficient code.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of professional Android development experience, with strong expertise in Java and Kotlin.
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring development teams.
  • Deep understanding of Android SDK, mobile architecture, and design patterns.
  • Proficiency in RESTful API integration and third-party library management.
  • Strong knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and collaborative workflows.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills to convey technical concepts.
