The Portfolio Manager has responsibility for leading the portfolio management team, setting up core Portfolio/PMO process and best practice, implementing tools and training, risk management and influencing the strategic direction of project/programme delivery.
The Portfolio Manager will assist in identifying and/or developing Portfolio Management frameworks and methodologies that ensure management of our most important projects and programmes is comprehensive and consistent across all areas.
This may include ownership of portfolio management methods, tools and templates, implementation of reporting & KPI dashboards, establishment and assurance of cross tribe delivery processes and cross tribe demand and capacity coordination.
The Portfolio Manager will work with senior leaders to support the new demand pipeline and maintain an accurate demand and supply tribe capacity plan & resource schedule. They will also be a key stakeholder in prioritisation of our strategic initiatives and maintain the single source of truth 1-N priorities list for the UKI Region.
This team is essential in ensuring our strategically important projects are controlled, assured and supported throughout their full life cycles. The Portfolio Manager ensures Portfolio Management frameworks, tools, governance, assurance and risk management activities are adopted and robust for continued future growth.
This is a lead role and requires a someone with a track record of success in a dynamic, global organization. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with structured thinking and strong interpersonal skills. This role will engage with senior stakeholders across UKI and other regions and divisions up to and including C-Level.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Portfolio, in the Office of the CTO (Chief Technology Officer)
