Elements is growing and ambitious! As part of our exciting expansion, we are moving from Almere to Amsterdam and we’re looking for a React Native/React Developer to help us build apps millions rely on.

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

As a React Native developer, together with your team, you will build high-quality mobile applications from scratch. Additionally, your React (Web) experience will help us on projects that require web solutions, where you may contribute to front-end development, shared component libraries, or full-stack discussions. You collaborate with colleagues to make estimates and define architecture, and also participate in defining project structure. You quickly adopt Elements’ way of working and make suggestions to improve it. You have genuine curiosity for your field and for learning from others. You also proactively share your knowledge with other colleagues and stand out for your collaborative spirit to reach set project goals. 

Requirements

WHAT YOU BRING 

Important: Please note, for this role we can only consider candidates already based in the Netherlands with a valid working visa.

You’re someone who communicates clearly in English and can easily connect with colleagues and clients alike. With a proactive mindset and an open, collaborative attitude, you thrive in team environments and enjoy finding solutions together. You’re curious by nature, quick to learn new skills, and adaptive when things change. On top of that, you bring a healthy sense of commercial awareness, allowing you to balance technical excellence with the bigger picture of delivering value.

Your tech skills and experience:

• 2–3 years of experience with React Native, including hands-on project work
• Experience with React and building responsive web applications
• At least 4 years of general development experience (e.g. TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6+), frontend React, or native mobile with Kotlin/Swift)
• Solid understanding of both mobile and web user perspectives
• Experience working with native modules and APIs and integrating them into React Native projects
• Knowledge of unit and integration testing
• Ability to contribute to app architecture design
• Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery pipelines

You’ll get bonus points if you have had prior exposure to native Android/iOS development, end-to-end testing, Expo, or Next.js — these are nice-to-haves, not deal-breakers.
