The S&DÂ team develops and maintains the Autodoc application for Android. The app is available in 27 European countries. S&D team is engaged in both the development of new features and the support and improvement of the already implemented functionality. Your responsibility will be the catalog, product lists, product details UI\UX and all related interactions throughout the in-app user journey.

Architecture and Code Quality: Lead the development efforts by providing technical guidance and ensuring high-quality code through code reviews and adherence to coding standards. Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and other issues to ensure smooth and responsive applications.Â
Unit and UI Testing: Demonstrate a strong focus on testing by writing comprehensive unit tests and conducting UI testing using frameworks like JUnit and Espresso to ensure the stability and reliability of our applications.Â
Cross-Platform Collaboration: Collaborate with the iOS development team to ensure platform consistency and share knowledge on best practices.
Network Integration: Leverage your expertise to implement efficient and scalable APIs that communicate with backend services.
Code Quality and Documentation: Write clean, modular, and testable code, and maintain clear and concise documentation to facilitate collaboration within the team.Â
User Experience: Work closely with the design team to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience, making data-driven decisions to enhance user satisfaction.Â
Troubleshooting and Bug Fixing: Investigate and troubleshoot reported issues, providing timely bug fixes and updates to maintain app stability.Â
Teamwork: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and deliver high-quality applications on time.
Requirements:
4+ years of professional experience in Android app development with a proven track record of delivering successful applications.
Expertise in SQLite or another relation and nonrelational database, including its implementation and integration into Android applications.Â
Proficiency in Kotlin and Java for Android development and solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.Â
Experience with Android Studio, Gradle, and version control systems like Git. Deep understanding of Android UI/UX design principles and best practices for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces using Jetpack Compose, XML.Â
Knowledge of Android architectural patterns (Clean, MVVM, MVP, etc.) and experience with dependency injection frameworks (e.g., Dagger, Hilt).Â
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and their integration into mobile applications.Â
Familiarity with the latest Android features, libraries, and development tools.Â
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking skills, and attention to detail.Â
Practical written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.Â
