Senior Android Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications following best engineering practices;
• Implement new product features with a strong focus on quality and performance;
• Diagnose, fix, and prevent bugs; create and maintain unit tests;
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (backend, frontend, iOS, QA, support, etc.) to ensure seamless product development;
• Refactor and enhance existing codebases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in Android application development;
• Expert-level proficiency in Kotlin and Java, with a deep understanding of the Android SDK;
• Strong knowledge of Clean Architecture and MVVM, with the ability to apply these patterns confidently and consistently;
• Hands-on experience writing unit tests and ensuring high code quality through test coverage and maintainable architecture;
• Proficient with dependency injection, specifically using Koin;
• Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions;
• Solid understanding of mobile development best practices, performance optimization, and scalable app design;
• Ability to work autonomously, make architectural decisions, and mentor other developers.
