We are creating a high-performance mobile experience closely integrated with our Shopify-based commerce ecosystem - with the clear ambition to establish strong in-house mobile capabilities long-term. This role goes far beyond feature implementation. From day one, you will take architectural ownership, shape technical standards, and actively contribute to how mobile engineering is built within our organization. You will work in a fast-moving, growth-oriented environment where structure is not simply given - it is created. If you enjoy building scalable systems, defining standards, and driving technical excellence while collaborating closely across teams, this role offers real ownership and impact.<h3>Your mission</h3><ul><li>You implement high-quality, scalable Flutter features from concept to release</li><li>You take ownership of our mobile architecture with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability</li><li>You define and elevate coding standards, testing strategies, CI/CD processes, and review culture</li><li>You proactively prevent technical debt and build for long-term sustainability</li><li>You collaborate closely with Product, UX/UI, Commerce, and Backend teams to deliver impactful releases</li><li>You contribute to engineering standards beyond the app and help shape cross-team technical collaboration</li><li>You ensure stability and performance in production and take responsibility for continuous improvement</li><li>You share your knowledge and actively raise the bar for engineering excellence within the team</li></ul><h3>Your experience & skills</h3><ul><li>Several years of hands-on experience building production-grade Flutter applications</li><li>Strong expertise in scalable mobile architecture and Clean Code principles</li><li>Solid experience with testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and modern release processes</li><li>Experience integrating mobile apps with commerce backends (ideally Shopify APIs) is a strong plus</li><li>You feel comfortable in fast-moving environments and enjoy building structure where none exists yet</li><li>You have an entrepreneurial mindset, take ownership, and think long-term</li><li>You actively participate in architectural discussions and enjoy shaping standards and collaboration</li><li>You actively use modern AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Copilot, Cursor or similar) as part of your workflow and understand how to apply them responsibly to improve productivity and code quality</li><li>You value strong collaboration, peer reviews, and continuous improvement as part of high-performing engineering teams</li><li>Excellent English skills, both written and spoken; German is a plus</li></ul> <h3>Why choose us?</h3>Being part of our team means joining a high-performing company with a diverse and inclusive culture.
