Senior iOS Developer - Mobile App Developer Jobs

We’re seeking a Senior iOS Developer to join our mobile engineering team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in building and scaling Transcarent’s next-generation health experience on iOS. You’ll collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product leaders to deliver secure, intuitive, and high-performing mobile applications that transform how people engage with healthcare.Responsibilities<ul><li>Design, build, and maintain advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift and SwiftUI.</li><li>Work closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver seamless, responsive, and visually engaging user experiences.</li><li>Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through best practices and modern architectures (e.g., MVVM, Combine).</li><li>Integrate with backend APIs and healthcare data systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance and data privacy standards.</li><li>Mentor and support other developers through code reviews, technical discussions, and documentation.</li><li>Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and product impact.</li><li>Contribute to improving our CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and app release processes.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>5+ years of professional iOS development experience.</li><li>Proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, and modern iOS frameworks (UIKit, Combine, CoreData, etc.).</li><li>Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and asynchronous programming.</li><li>Experience with mobile architecture patterns, dependency injection, and test-driven development (TDD).</li><li>Familiarity with tools such as Xcode, Fastlane, Firebase, and Git.</li><li>Experience building accessible, secure, and high-performance mobile apps at scale.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.</li><li>Passion for improving healthcare through technology.</li></ul>Preferred Experience<ul><li>Experience in healthcare, telemedicine, or digital health platforms.</li><li>Knowledge of FHIR, HL7, or other healthcare interoperability standards.</li><li>Prior experience working in a startup or fast-paced agile environment.</li></ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">As a remote position, the salary range for this role is:</div><div class="pay-range">$100,000—$120,000 CAD</div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion">Who we are  Transcarent and Accolade have come together to create the One Place for Health and Care, the leading personalized health and care experience that delivers unmatched choice, quality, and outcomes.
