Senior iOS Engineer - Wearables + BLE

Botz is building the next generation of wearable intelligence, where hardware, real-time sensing, and AI come together into a seamless mobile experience.

This role is about owning the iOS application that connects directly to our wearable devices. You will build a product that is not only beautiful and intuitive, but also robust in the real world, where Bluetooth reliability, performance, and device integration truly matter.

What you’ll do

• Own the iOS wearable app experience end-to-end, from architecture to UI polish
• Build and maintain a reliable Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) stack for our wearable devices
• Implement pairing, reconnection logic, background behavior, and real-time data streaming
• Collaborate closely with firmware and hardware teams to define protocols and debug device interactions
• Ship user-facing features that combine wearable data, visualization, and intelligent experiences

Must-have

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping production iOS apps in Swift
• Track record of delivering apps used by real customers in production
• Deep hands-on expertise with BLE and CoreBluetooth, including GATT services, notifications, reconnections, and edge cases
• Experience working with connected devices such as wearables, IoT products, sensors, or medical hardware
• Strong attention to detail in UI, interaction quality, and product finish
• Comfortable debugging across mobile ↔ Bluetooth ↔ embedded systems

Nice to have

• Android development experience (Kotlin)
• Experience with real-time data visualization or health/fitness applications
• Exposure to AI-driven mobile features (personalization, chat-based UX, insights)
