About the Role

We're looking for a highly motivated, results-oriented Senior React Native Developer to join a fast-paced, forward-thinking team at the forefront of smart home technology. You’ll be part of a cross-functional development group responsible for building and enhancing mobile applications that are used by millions of people to make their homes more efficient, comfortable, and sustainable.

Responsibilities 

• Build and maintain performant React Native applications for both iOS and Android. 
• Collaborate with designers to create intuitive, visually appealing mobile UIs. 
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and handle offline-first scenarios where needed. 
• Design and implement clean, scalable, and testable code. 
• Lead and participate in code reviews, contributing to continuous improvement. 
• Guide architectural decisions and technical direction for mobile projects. 
• Work with backend and QA teams to ensure end-to-end quality and performance. 
• Handle mobile app deployment and updates across platforms (App Store / Google Play). 
• Support CI/CD pipelines and release automation. 

Required Skills and Qualifications 

• Minimum 5 years of experience building and maintaining mobile applications using React Native in a commercial setting. 
• Strong grasp of TypeScript, React Hooks, component-driven development, and mobile state management (e.g. Redux, Zustand). 
• Solid experience with REST APIs and handling edge cases such as caching, throttling, and error handling. 
• Familiarity with native mobile code (Swift, Kotlin, Objective-C, or Java) and bridging when needed. 
• Experience publishing and maintaining apps on the App Store and Google Play. 
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills. 
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and working in Agile teams. 
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. 
• Demonstrated attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a can-do attitude. 
• Ability to work within a team to achieve common sprint goals and deliver high-quality code. 

Desirable Skills 

• Experience with advanced React Native libraries (e.g. Reanimated, Lottie, React Navigation). 
• Understanding of mobile accessibility and inclusive design practices. 
• Exposure to mobile analytics tools and crash reporting platforms (e.g. Firebase, Sentry). 
• Experience with security and compliance in mobile apps (e.g. GDPR, encryption).
