About the role 

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior React Native Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in mobile development, particularly with React Native, and a strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, especially those involving third-party libraries and native integrations. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to support and mentor less experienced engineers. 

Responsibilities 

• Develop, maintain, and optimize mobile applications using React Native. 

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to third-party libraries and SDKs (e.g., Zoom). 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with backend systems, including Salesforce Cloud. 

• Work with real-time communication tools (e.g., WebSockets, PubNub) to support chat and video features. 

• Dive into native code (Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, Java) when necessary to resolve platform-specific issues. 

• Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership within the team. 

• Support and mentor junior engineers, helping them overcome technical challenges. 

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices. 

Requirements 

• 5+ years of experience in mobile development, with a strong focus on React Native. 

• Proven ability to identify, debug, and resolve complex issues quickly and effectively. 

• Experience integrating and troubleshooting third-party SDKs, especially for video conferencing. 

• Familiarity with real-time communication technologies and protocols. 

• Ability to read and modify native mobile code (iOS and Android). 

• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. 

• Experience working in structured codebases with complex architectural decisions. 

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Hands-on experience integrating with real-time communication platforms (e.g., chat, video, or voice services using WebSockets, PubNub, or similar technologies). 

• Experience with Salesforce integrations. 

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and best practices. 

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. 

• Experience working in cross-functional teams with varying levels of technical expertise.
