<p><strong>Location: </strong>Mexico / Colombia (Colombia preferred for Global Program)</p><p><strong>Engagement: </strong>Full-Time </p><p><strong>Reporting into: </strong>Product Engineering Leadership </p><p><strong>Role Summary </strong></p><p>We are hiring a Mobile Technical Lead to anchor a global mobile delivery program focused on scaling feature velocity, improving release quality, and establishing strong version governance. </p><p>This role will own mobile architecture decisions, integration strategy with Java backend systems, and release discipline across multiple geographies. </p><p>This is not just a coding role — it is a delivery maturity role. </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities </strong></p><p><strong>Architecture Ownership </strong></p><ul><li>Define scalable React Native architecture </li><li>Establish modular component structure </li><li>Define API integration contracts with Java backend teams </li><li>Ensure environment-based configuration and version control governance ● Prevent codebase fragmentation across markets </li></ul><p><strong>Release & Quality Governance </strong></p><ul><li>Implement structured CI/CD pipelines </li><li>Define regression testing strategy </li><li>Establish release readiness checklists</li><li>Design rollback strategies </li><li>Reduce post-release instability </li></ul><p><strong>Delivery Velocity Enablement </strong></p><ul><li>Improve sprint predictability </li><li>Introduce feature flag strategy </li><li>Help product team assess complexity early </li><li>Enable rapid 1–2 week test cycles </li></ul><p><strong>Multi-Version Control </strong></p><ul><li>Ensure “single source of truth” mobile codebase ● Avoid region-specific forks </li><li>Create upgrade paths for new features </li></ul><p><strong>Cross-Regional Leadership </strong></p><ul><li>Work across Mexico, Colombia, US & India teams ● Mentor regional engineers </li><li>Establish documentation discipline </li><li>Drive knowledge redundancy to avoid SPOF </li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills </strong></p><ul><li>7+ years software engineering experience </li><li>4+ years React Native (production scale) </li><li>Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns ● Experience integrating with Java-based backend systems ● Experience with CI/CD (mobile pipelines) </li><li>Experience with mobile performance optimization ● Strong experience debugging complex production issues </li></ul><p><strong>Strongly Preferred </strong></p><ul><li>Experience scaling apps across multiple markets ● Experience with consumer mobile products </li><li>Familiarity with distributed team delivery</li><li>Experience with observability and crash analytics tools ● Prior experience acting as Technical Lead </li></ul><p><strong>What Success Looks Like </strong></p><ul><li>Stable, scalable mobile platform </li><li>Increased feature throughput </li><li>Reduced regression loops </li><li>Clear version governance </li><li>Predictable global release cadence</li></ul>
