Your architectural decisions will shape how it scales for years to come.</p><p>Our Tech Stack includes: Swift , SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine, modern structured concurrency, SPM , GraphQL (Apollo) transitioning to REST, Auth0, Datadog, LaunchDarkly, Braze, Fastlane, CircleCI.<br><br></p><h3><strong>YOUR CHALLENGE:</strong></h3><ul><li>Drive our modular architecture forward by shaping well-defined Swift Package modules with clear ownership boundaries.<br><br></li><li>Define clean module boundaries and protocol-based APIs so that teams can own, test, and ship their features independently.<br><br></li><li>Build with modern Swift concurrency: actors, @MainActor isolation, Sendable compliance. Drive the adoption of safe, data-race-free patterns across the codebase.<br><br></li><li>Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver reliable, intuitive features that help guests everywhere experience Blacklane rides seamlessly.<br><br></li><li>Strengthen our testing strategy and contribute to automated regression pipelines that catch issues before they reach production.<br><br></li><li>Improve observability end to end, from distributed tracing on every API call to crash-free rate targets and cold-start performance budgets.<br><br></li><li>Contribute to our CI/CD pipeline, release cadence, and progressive delivery strategy to ship confidently and frequently.<br><br></li><li>Mentor teammates through pair programming, code reviews, and architecture sessions. Elevate the engineering culture across the team.<br><br></li><li>Champion AI-assisted development as a core engineering practice. Leverage AI tools to accelerate delivery, and maintain architectural guides that keep both human and AI contributors aligned.</li></ul><h3><strong> </strong></h3><h3><strong>ABOUT YOU:</strong></h3><ul><li>6+ years of professional experience building and shipping iOS applications at scale<br><br></li><li>Deep knowledge of Swift, SwiftUI, and modern structured concurrency (async/await, actors, Sendable). You've been deep enough to know what matters and what doesn't.<br><br></li><li>SOLID principles, design patterns, and protocol-oriented programming are part of how you think, not just interview topics.<br><br></li><li>You think in systems. You can define an architecture, reason about trade-offs, and balance long-term vision with practical delivery.<br><br></li><li>You treat observability as a feature, not an afterthought. You know that tracing, crash reporting, and performance monitoring are what keep a premium app reliable at scale<br><br></li><li>You balance technical depth with product awareness.
