<p>We’re looking for a <strong>Software Engineer</strong> with strong production experience in <strong>React and Next.js</strong>, along with experience building and shipping applications using <strong>React Native</strong>. </p><p>You’ll help build and scale the web and cross-platform client surfaces of our product ecosystem — owning meaningful features from API integration through UI delivery. This role balances strong hands-on execution with growing architectural influence.</p><p>We’re excited about engineers who are stepping into senior-level ownership — people who consistently deliver high-quality systems, influence technical direction, and are ready to expand their architectural impact.</p><p> </p><p><strong>What You’ll Work On</strong></p><ul><li>Build and maintain production-grade web applications using React and Next.js.</li><li>Develop and ship cross-platform mobile features using React Native.</li><li>Own features end-to-end — from API integration and data handling through component architecture and delivery.</li><li>Make informed decisions about state management, rendering strategies (SSR/SSG/ISR), and performance trade-offs.</li><li>Improve frontend performance through code splitting, bundle optimization, and render efficiency.</li><li>Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend engineers to translate requirements into clear, well-scoped technical plans.</li><li>Participate in design discussions and code reviews, contributing to shared patterns and best practices.</li><li>Mentor less experienced engineers through pairing, feedback, and knowledge sharing.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Must Have</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of professional software engineering experience.</li><li>Strong production experience building and operating applications with React and Next.js.</li><li>Production experience with React Native, including shipping mobile features to end users.</li><li>Strong TypeScript fundamentals and experience building type-safe systems.</li><li>Experience owning meaningful features or systems in a production environment.</li><li>Solid understanding of frontend architecture, state management patterns, and performance considerations.</li><li>Ability to clearly communicate technical trade-offs and collaborate effectively across teams.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with advanced Next.js features (App Router, server components, caching strategies).</li><li>Experience with monorepo tooling (Turborepo, Nx) and shared component libraries.</li><li>Familiarity with real-time communication technologies (WebSockets, WebRTC).</li><li>Backend experience (Node.js, API design, database modeling, caching strategies).</li><li>Experience working on media-rich or performance-sensitive applications.</li><li>Familiarity with Renewed Vision products (ProPresenter, ProVideoPlayer, ProScoreboard).</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Growth & Development</strong></p><p>Renewed Vision has a formalized engineering leveling framework with a dual career track — engineers can grow deeper technically or expand into engineering leadership.</p><p>In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to grow your architectural influence, lead larger technical initiatives, and shape shared frontend patterns across the organization.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Compensation</strong></p><p>This is a full-time W2 position.
