Accountabilities:

The Staff Mobile Engineer will be responsible for leading the technical evolution of iOS applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and exceptional user experiences. You will act as a technical reference, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design solutions, improve engineering practices, and deliver impactful products.

Develop and maintain iOS features with a focus on performance, quality, reliability, and responsiveness.
Design scalable and efficient solutions in collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers.
Lead technical solution design within product squads and monitor the health of features in production, including bugs and crash performance.
Write unit tests and contribute to code quality through pull request reviews and technical feedback.
Ensure application compatibility across different iOS versions, screen sizes, and device configurations.
Evaluate technical solutions proposed by product teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with engineering standards.
Participate actively in mobile engineering ceremonies, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Influence architectural decisions and establish best practices for mobile development.
Support knowledge sharing and technical growth across engineering teams.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced iOS engineer with strong technical expertise, architectural knowledge, and the ability to solve complex problems collaboratively. You should have experience building scalable mobile applications and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Proven experience developing iOS applications using Swift.
Strong knowledge of iOS development principles, frameworks, and best practices.
Experience with mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM and VIPER.
Experience working with REST APIs, Git, UIKit, and Auto Layout.
Knowledge of unit testing practices and quality-focused development.
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges and make effective engineering decisions.
Experience collaborating within agile teams and cross-functional environments.
Strong communication skills and ability to influence technical direction.
Experience with CI/CD tools and Fastlane is a plus.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot is a plus.
Experience with RxSwift, project modularization, or Server-Driven UI (SDUI) architectures is a plus.
Previous experience in financial technology, banking, fintech, or large-scale technology environments is desirable.
